WMM AND WAG SERIES UNITS

The principle of operation is quite simple - water passes through the thickness of the filtering load at a desired speed. The suspended particles change direction and speed and are trapped between the material granules. however, mechanical impurities can be of different sizes and nature. Thus, the most effective filters are multilayer loading, the so-called multimedia filters. The idea is that the upper layers of the filter are less dense filler and the lower layers are more dense. With the downward flow of water large impurities will be detained in the upper layer, and smaller ones in the lower layer. In this way, all layers of filter media are always in operation.

The WMM series is a multi-media water filter for mechanical impurities. The filler is a multilayer loading from gravel (fraction of 3,0 - 8,0 mm), treated sand (fraction of 0,8 - 1,25 mm) and anthracite filter media. Suspended substances in water of different fractions are precipitated in the filter thickness and then drained back to the drain by backwashing.

WAG series units - single-layer mechanical contamination filter. The filler: Filter AG is an anhydrous, foamed, granular aluminosilicate with a large filtration surface. Requires less volume and water consumption for flushing, has lower pressure drop under the same conditions. Irregularly shaped pellets increase the dirt holding capacity of the filter. Suspended substances in water of different fractions are deposited in the thickness of the filter, and then backwashed into the drain.
