Flocculant RoQuest 5000 is specially designed for water treatment with turbidity up to 10 mg/l and chromaticity more than 10 degrees.
The flocculant contains more than 9% Fe2+ ion and less than 0.2% Fe3+
Can be directly dosed before multimedia or sand filters at the pre-treatment stage of water entering the reverse osmosis unit.
To be introduced at least 5 meters before multimedia or sand filters. Do not use stationary mixers to avoid destruction of the polymers that make up the coagulant.
The recommended dose is 2-25 mg of coagulant per liter of water. Significantly increasing the dose may result in poor water quality.
Approximately 0.25 mg/L of alkalinity, expressed as calcium carbonate, is required per 1 mg of RoQuest 5000. A minimum of 25 mg/L residual alkalinity is required for coagulant application.
It is preferably administered undiluted. If necessary, it is possible to dilute coagulant in a ratio of no more than 4:1 in OC permeate or deionized water.
pH of 1% solution is 4-6.
Dosing in small amounts.
Density relative to water at 20°С is 1.3-1.4.
Freezing point -8°C.
Viscosity at 25°C 100 cP (0.1 Pa-s).
Compatible with thin film polyamide and acetate cellulose reverse osmosis membranes.
Compatible with Avista Vitec 3000, 5000 and 7000 anti-scalants.
Effective over a wide pH range.
It is supplied in 23 kg buckets or 220 kg barrels.
