Aquarum S-0817 is a cabinet-type filter for water softening. It has a connection diameter of 1″. It is intended for purification of hardness salts (calcium and magnesium) from water. Water softening occurs by ion exchange. Calcium and magnesium ions are exchanged for an equivalent number of sodium ions, resulting in a reduction in hardness without significantly changing the overall salt content of the water. The filter material is high quality strongly acidic cationite (8 liters included). Suitable for purification of drinking and process water from underground sources or municipal water supply. The filter has a compact size, so it can be installed in any small room.
The filter is equipped with the Clack WS1 CI automatic control valve, which starts the regeneration both in time and volume.
