Liquid antiscalant/dispersant for inhibiting silicate, sulfate and carbonate deposits and dispersing colloids in thin film and acetate cellulose membrane systems.

Inhibits silicate deposits at higher concentrations compared to other antiscalants (up to 250 mg/l SiO2). Effective at iron ion concentrations up to 4 mg/L in OO concentrate.

As a dispersant it reduces colloidal and sludge contamination of membranes.
Highly effective in different types of waters and at different pH’s.
The ability to influence inorganic crystal formation reduces system contamination.

Effective prevention of deposits at low doses of antiscalant provides economical operation of the system.
Maximum efficiency is achieved when the reagent is introduced before the filter in case of multifilters, and after the filter in case of cartridge-filters.
If sulfuric acid is used in the system, it must be dissolved before introducing the Vitec 4000.
The maximum dilution should not exceed 10%. This will prevent bacterial growth inside the dosing vessel.
